Casting Call for God...

The casting call for Blogland's production of "Paradise Lost" continues.

In Milton's "Paradise Lost", God can be distilled (drastically) as follows:

God knows ALL.

NO ONE can know the mind of God.

When Satan questions God's wisdom, he/she is cast out of Heaven and given his/her own kingdom known as Chaos, or Hell.

When Adam and Eve attempt to know the mind of God they are cast out of Paradise and into the world of Free Will.

OK, then. We ALL know that God is a WOMAN and that NO ONE can know the mind of God. So I am going to make my only executive decision with regards to the play. I think that most would agree that NO ONE can know the mind of MzHunyhole. Where, how and why does she come up with those topics for her esteemed blog!? AND, she is already sitting up there on her throne.

Clever, it has been obvious to me for decades that God is female. However, I have discovered that it best to keep that opinion to myself. Hell I have learned to keep my opinions about God to myself. They are too abstract and/or liberal for southwest Louisiana. Come to think of it I pretty much keep to myself period.

I am REALLY enjoying the production of “Paradise Lost” a la blogland. Don’t stop. It promises to be great fun.

Ah, you tempt me...
God is a she? What a sexist thing to say!
Being a son of God I have seen no option but to be a worshiper of Goddess. They are both part of the great AUM (or whatever you like to call IT), who embodies both feminine and masculine.
In other words - within the great TAO we all participate in the dance of Yin and Yang. I am Yang, but within me I carry both Yin and Yang, as you are Yin embodying both principles.
It is all beautiful, lets dance!
Blessed be!
The "dane"

I think that Satan has probably already been cast. However, Satan does appear to Eve in the form of a TOAD for a brief moment, if interested.

How is it the saying goes ... "you've got to kiss many toads..."
Among witches the toad has a long and interesting story - very much connected to the consept of free Will.
I'd be happy to be a toad before the Goddess - even for the briefest of moments

4/4/2006 8:55 am can be the toad. No one kisses the toad in the play, but the producer (ME) will give you a kiss for being such a good sport.
