Guys - shit for brains?

Going through my inbox today I had one from a woman who said that she was really a man and was desperate to mail me but couldn't from her/his male profile.

So this is a guy who is so sleazy that he's registered another profile here as a woman and thinks that it's okay to mail me from his fake female profile and that I'll be cool about it and want to chat/meet with him?

Please tell me the world isn't going mad!

I sent him a quick reply - i don't meet bi/gay men! Lol

Honestly, if I read some of this stuff in a book I wouldn't believe it.

If he's a standard male member then he has to accrue points to mail you. Us ladies get a few privileges over the men in that we can e mail people without points.

Maybe he's a man posing as a woman cause he has no cash to join.

OK, now I'm embarrassed to be a part of the male race.

VCDF1962 thanks for the explanation. It's still pretty sleazy though isn't it? And if he has no cash then he's DEFINITELY not my type! Lol.

sloman44, no need to be embarrassed (tricky word to spell correctly) - wherever you go there's always someone who makes an ass of themselves.

I remember when I was doing job interviews in my final year at uni - there was a rumour that some employers (won't name the company here but their stock price has plummeted over the last 10 years) catered really challenging lunch menus so that they could observe whether the candidates had good table manners and knew how to conform to the norms. Like how do you eat peas?

I confess. I have had multiple personalities on AdultFriendFinder. And I have learned from it. I've had a woman mail me from her "brother's" account. If she and her brother could spell I probably would have replied.

I think it was no less sleazy than a lot of other stuff around here. He seemed interested in you, resourceful and honest about what he was doing and why. From what I hear from women, that's a better place to begin than 90+ percent of the emails they receive.

What can I say?! My profile clearly says that I'm straight yet I get more attention from men and MM couples? The mere thought repulses me. My profile says "married" not "married and desperate for any form of sexual contact"!

I can only sympathize with you, I only get one or two emails a week...rather easier to deal with. I now understand why the majority of women on AdultFriendFinder are only looking for other women.

JustACluelessGuy thank's for your perspective. I guess I was surprised by the guy's audacity but you're right he was resourceful (and honest). There was an article in one of today's papers about the 21 year old arrested in Canada for "grooming" kids on the net.

I guess there are millions of lies told here - marital status, age, endowment, old pics, pics of someone else, etc. and as long as no harm's done then I don't suppose it matters that much.

ColB74 I guess it must be those shaven pecs and 6 pack that attract the guys. Ever considered a parallel career as a gay icon?

You're right though about women - I have a much better success rate chatting with women here than men. I think it's something to do with the intuitive ability to judge the pace and tempo of a dialogue (and mens' lack of). Who know?

LOL! I can honestly say that being a gay icon had never entered my mind. Even if it did pay well it would not instigate a career change...but thanks for the suggestion.

I kind of hoped that my UNshaven pecs and barely visible 6 pack would bring out the animal in women, not the weirdo in men. I guess there are learning experiences to be had by all.
