So here it is, Saturday morning and it is raining outside, a perfect day to stay in bed I say!
But nooooooo, I had to wake up much too early, after what can only be described as a very restless night of sleep. I think that restless thing from the post before last is following me around. *chuckles*
So back to the rainy morning and what can be done with them.
The possibilities are endless of course, get up just long enough to make some coffee and go back and snuggle under the fresh sheets, catch maybe a catnap while it finishes perking.
Take a book to bed, there is nothing more relaxing than reading the written words of a favored author while sipping on fresh coffee, listening to the rain falling outside.
Music, of course, how can I forget the music! On days like today, I tend to lean more towards Blue Rodeo or Phil Collins, the more mellow type artists.
Now, if there was someone in that bed with me *chuckles* oh the possibilities there as well...hmmmmmmmmmmm.
That slow awakening, the featherlike touches, the little whispers that make a person balance between dream state and awakedness, everything slow so as not to send the mind into instant shock and wonder just what the heck is happening.
Yep, gotta love the rain.

Mmmm... yeah, a rainy Sunday morning with a lover, nude under a sheet, caressing & kissng... slow, lazy, luxurious & exquisite love-making for hours; yes please!|
And chuchotte - Blue Rodeo? I love them! Perfect soundtrack to that Sunday morning... "Lost," "Diamond Mine."
I was about to express shock that you've even heard of 'em; but then I see you're Canadian, making you even cooler, but not an anamoly for liking BR. You pretty much have to like them, along with the 'Hip, don't you.
I saw them last summer (2004) at a free show in Central Park.
BTW - Ottowa - do you get 102.1 (CFNY) out of Toronto? We get it here; along with the local NPR station, it's the only radio station I have programmed in my car. I know Oshowa gets it....
