Honesty is...

...relative?

Based on what I have read in the ladies' profiles, honesty is a big factor in what they are looking for. It is a noble attribute for anyone to search for or have. Of course, there are degrees of honesty...

"Does this make me look fat?"

Do you really want to answer that question honestly?

I could add more examples, but why bother. Especially since some of the ladies that are looking for honesty are not being very honest. I know that I have done some checking and fairly easily found out that a few ladies were - ahhh- fudging their age listed on their profile. And it was easy to do just by just through following links on their AdultFriendFinder profile. Now I know folks are "creative" with some of the info on their profiles to enhance the chance of meeting someone. But, if you are looking for honesty, shouldn't you be honest too?

When I think of honesty as being relative... well the first thing that pops into mind is what men say about dick size. Most men will say they are endowed or well endowed just because they have a cock. Imagine that?

That is like saying I'm intelligent just because I have a brain.

I'm extremely honest, much more than most, on my profile because I feel it's the right thing to do. As for others, I don't see the honesty about STDs, etc., except for one other. He and I both are mortified others aren't being upfront and honest about what we have and know pretty much 1 out of 4 others have, too: herpes.

But can you guys handle honesty? Don't you judge a woman and a man differently as to their honesty? The double standard is alive and well, even here on this rather blunt site. The man isn't judged as harshly as the woman is. Should I not be honest then?
