Damn it!

ok I am officially pissed. my best friend has just been told that due to her blood tests she needs to go to the doctor to have a cat scan done to rule out a possible blood clot in the brain. This woman has 3 children and is currently trying to talk herself out of having the test run! Maybe I am just being really strange but I would do everything I could to make sure I stayed on this earth if I had children that depended upon me. This is friggin infuriating.

If you have to tie her into the car and drag her to the doctors office. I lost my mother to cancer because she was afraid of doctors. Don't let those little one lose their mom too quickly. Prayers going out to her, too.

Hey Celtic, however you have to get her there do it. Her kids will regret not having a Mom around if she lets it go. I speak from experience as I did not heed the warning signs of impending doom on my own part and almost left my children without being able to say how much I loved them. I knew I needed to go but kept putting it off and did not tell anyone how I was feeling. Well I was lucky enough to be able to call them from the ambulance and let them know that they needed to come to the hospital to see me soon. I am still awaiting some furhter surgery to get me past all of this, but if I had to do it over again I would not wait, life is too short anyway and you want to guide your children as far as you can so they don't make the same mistakes we did. Tell her to go for them if nothing else. They deserve it and so does she. My prayers to her and hope she gets better.
