scheduling geography

at this point i am getting really exhausted with trying to work schedules around travel time.
i've just changed my settings to be officially closer to home. i have been browsing under that preference anyway, but i'm finally fed up with not being able to spend time with people because i work nights and am way too exhausted to drive another 30 miles or so. plus i can't afford the gas in my car!
i live in the freaking state capital! if i can't find some playthings within 10 or 15 miles, i obviously don't have the time to try hard enough, let alone make time for sex.

and i'm so sick of guys who tell me "it may be too far for you but it's not too far for me"
who are you trying to kid? you'll end up trying to lay a guilt trip on me for you having to drive all the time!
i have one existing partner who is exempt, and one potential couple that i've already agreed to meet outside of that distance, and that's it!
(hugs to J. and M&S if you are reading this)

no more long or even medium distance friends with benefits. if i can't stop by your place on my way home from work, it's not going to happen!

Catastrophe, I'm from Florida and 20-30 miles is nothing! Chapel Hill to Raleigh is definitely do-able, at least for me.

I admire the clarity of your arguments catastrophegirl (see that, I'm glad I asked first, and I've since also seen your request in your profile) I think that's why I keep looking in.
To my mind you're ahead of the rest of us, the gas prices are only going to get much worse. You're always going to win that debate, but you did it so deliciously!

Thanks for writing.
