Strike Three...YOU

So it's now Thursday late afternoon.
Our anniversary.
I'm dressed to the "T", and looking mighty fine, I might add.
We take a taxi to the Bellagio, where we have tickets to the show "O".
We're about 1 1/2 hours early for the performance, so I say let's go next door and check out Caesar's Palace.

On the way back, there's a guy selling bottled water on the walkway over the street.
He's barking his wated, and just stops as we approach and says:

"You look smashing! Absolutely spectacular!"

I said thank you to him, and said to hubby, "That was so nice." he said well you do look nice, to which I said "Too late!"

After the show and a nice dinner, we went out to see the strip at night.
I kept stopping to take pictures, coz I'm a tourist and that's what tourists do! LOL!
I wanted to stop at one last casino to see it.
Well, I guess he got bored, or else was itching for a machine coz he hadn't played in hours, so guess what he did?

You're not gonna believe this one folks....

He walked off and LEFT ME THERE!

All by myself!

On Las Vegas Boulevard at night.

ON OUR ANNIVERSARY!

Just walked away without looking back.
So that's when it was finally decided that this was the end.
And that's what I'm gonna do.
Walk away without looking back.

Period.

End of story.

Tell me, do ya blame me?

Kisses & Hugs,
♥ Candy

Wow! I am speechless. I got one of those stories about my ex-wife leaving me for an ex-friend.

I didn't get into the break up with Brenda in the song out of respect for her. Some day we will have to compare notes.

Thanks for visiting my blog take a look at the others. I may leave the site soon if all goes well.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Not to repeat the style of another but...

Oh. My God.

Walking away from you to play slots?!?!?!

leave him. Now. Actually, that's not the correct way to think about this.

He already left you. Move on.

I'm virtually cuddling up to you tonight...

How about just the opposite. We go to Vegas and I want to go gambling, instead I walk the trip up and down, up and down so doing what my wife wants. After 2 weeks in Vegas I spend about 1 1/2 hours in the casino total. I know how you feel (just the opposite circumstances). Only you can decide what is right.

Oh my GOD!!! I cannot believe he would be so fucking cold, and unconcerned. That was so fucking selfish!!! Not to mention childish!!! Candy if everyday is like that, then I will continue to say "follow your heart" If it seems that you are not appreciated, cherished, loved, or even respected, then yes it is time to venture out. I pray that God will continue to give you strength, and that you find the happiness that you deserve. Big HUGS to you, my strong Friend.

Lady

I am so sorry Candy!

Obviously he has simply given up... that is of course IF he ever tried to begin with.... it was very clear to him you were very unhappy and potentially on the way out.. and this is how he tries to convince you to stay???

IT'S TIME!!

I try not to blame anyone. You have your reasons - you need to be appreciated, not taken for granted, and an anniversary is definitely the time to be appreciated. I can only assume there are also many other contributing factors, there always are.... but be sure to be true to yourself and to understand what you're doing.
