Chat room

Our Bloggers of This Friendly Site group has 122 members from around the world. USA, Canada, Australia, Greece, UK, Netherlands, Brunei (where's that waggypolly?) Germany, Italy, Nicaragua, Spain, Taiwan, Gibraltar, Iceland,France, Ireland, Japan, Zimbabwe, Egypt, and of course Venus!

My question is simple. Why don't you use the chat room feature? There are a few of us who regularly check in, and there are a few of us who have had some very interesting experiences and conversations. What better way, besides blogging, is there to meet people, chat, get to know him/her, and see if there's mutual interests, chemistry, etc?

I'd love to see more of you there...can't wait to meet know who you are

I will step forward in support of the Chat room..
I've found that chatting in this format can be an excellent way to get to know someone. And will often lead to private IM chatting away from the site. You can get the real stuff there. And really learn about someone.
But chatting can be scary or intimidating if you aren't accustomed to it. There are techniques and ettiquettes to learn that will make it more enjoyable. Just think of it as high speed blogging in real time. You leave a "post" and it is instantly "commented" on. You don't have to wait until tomorrow to see if anyone wanted to comment on your statement. They comment right now. And you see it.

I haven't been in the room more often because of some ongoing tech issues. But I look forward to being able to more.

Sorry, but I'm not a big fan of the AdultFriendFinder chat rooms. As Expat points out, once more than four people get chatting, things start getting confusing. Unless you know the people, you’re constantly trying to check profiles and keep up with the chat ‒ just not my idea of a good time…

I find it interesting that many Venusians seem to love the AdultFriendFinder chat rooms and a fair number of Martians don’t.

The "conversation" I bumped into last night, just wasn't my thing... try as I did. I'll keep checking in, but could someone put a sock on the doorknob if there's an orgy going on?

I agree with expat up there. It is very confusing to communicate in that format.

reallycurious: click on groups, it's under Other.

GOTD: oh no, we were waiting for you to show up and asking about you last night.

candy: I think a lot has to do with different times zones. I was on until gone three this morning, and many people can't handle that during the week, for obvious reasons.

Waggy has gone on a jungle trek until June. I think that a lot might find chat rooms confusing I know I do. While I do drop in and say hi and if there are only a couple there I stay and chat, once there becomes more that 4 or so I find it to hard to keep track so I slide on out.

Thank You for Your Time and Attention
