Today's Recipe ~ Baked Red Snapper ~

Today's Recipe ~ Baked Red Snapper ~

1 (4 lb) red snapper
Tony Chachere's Spice and Herb Seasoning
2 tablespoons margarine
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup chopped onions
½ cup chopped bell pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chopped celery
¼ cup dry white wine

Season fish inside and out and place in open baking pan.
In a saucepan, combine margarine, tomato sauce, sugar and vegetables.
Cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
Pour wine over fish, followed by the sauce.
Place in 300 degree oven and cook for one hour, basting occasionally.

Yields 8 servings.

Thanks for the recipe!
I have tried it by shearing the snapper!
It was faster and just as good.
Off to my kitchen!!!
