Hurricane Rita Update Part 2

I have not been able to contact my ex-wife and son who lives closer to Lake Charles, LA. They had left Thursday for Gulfport, MS to her sister, who had light damage to her home from Hurricane Katrina. I am assured by God that they are all right, and it would be a great comfort to hear their voice again. The phone service has not been restored there and most of the cell phones in the area are not working.

I do not know where my 31 year old daughter and family, who lives below New Orleans, had evacuated to for Hurricane Rita. She went to Houston for Hurricane Katrina, and returned home. They had just restored power to her home last week.

There are still a great need for help and assistance for victims of both hurricanes. In some towns The Red Cross is not there to help them. Please donate as much as you can afford to other Christian and private org. for relief efforts.

I am in sereve pain in my neck, low back and legs.
My doctor's office is not open today, for me to see him and get some medication for my pains. The hospital is open and I will probably go there to see a doctor.

Thank you everyone for your support, concerns and prayers for all of the victims.

Take care.

We have all been thinking of you and the other people
in need these days. We must be practical too. You know
what is going on there. Tell us how we can help in addition
to giving to organizations.

Hi Interested, The best and fastest way to help is to donate to trusted organizations, so they can purchase what is need to give relief to the victims. There is not much else everyone can to do to help.

The victims are also helping each other out as best as they can to those that are less fornuate than themself.

Thanks...
Take care.
