What Chastity said.

Chastity, a thoughtful, bespectacled girl below me at Uni was my mentor in porn and erotica. I have been thinking about her since joining this site, three weeks ago, although Uni was a long period of life away. She was the first honest woman I met who explained eroticism to my throbbing cock, which despite the joke- God gave man enough blood for his penis and his brain, but not both at the same time- stopped and listened without losing concentration. Last I heard she was a human rights activist who was was visiting prisoners in Algeria. She said every culture reaches a point of crisis where collective norms in a close society give way to individual freedoms in complex societies. The price of freedom though was separatedness and alienation. This was standard sociology, it seems. Her fresh twist and insight was that pornography and its expression of eroticism was the deepest expression of the bottomless need for a relating force which humans have for others, and that would never be trapped by any structures of laws or society. It was the barometer of pleasure and/or estrangement. For some like the Romans in Pompeii, erotica on the walls of one's house was art. Today, champions of democratic sexual freedom are routinely given as examples of wasted lives. Our US dominated Western culture can accept extreme sex but only for a tawdry sub- sub culture of pornography as commerce, and not for artists who recognise erotic heroes and heroines as agents of change. We watched a lot of her porn and made love a lot and watched the prosecutions and witch hunts Sunday newspaper by Sunday. We also watched a few get very rich indeed. I've since made love to one porn star and she was not together at all. I have no illusions there now. For Chastity, to be honestly open to the erotic required something like heroism because its force pushes and pulls and is a rebellious expression for the opponents of division and rule, be they male or female, but the erotic urge paradoxically also seeks secure expression, as its normal result is new human life. Knowledge of conception changed all that. For her the erotic was heroic. Soon for me it had lost any heroism and was meretricious and duplicitious. So solve the conundrum, the most rebellious part of us craves security and an ordered place in society, but at the extremes of change the most erotic players were the stupidest and the crudest- answer: the hip hop video. Humour was in the mix there too for her. It had to be. Each funny joke, each ejaculation was a tiny revolution. The unlaughed at joke was a dry pussy or an impotent cock. What's happening here, on this site, I think is that we are evolving, all the users of this site, into the beginnings of a new global society. This was tried in the peace and love ethics of hippies, failed, and now we Affs are trying years later, perhaps without realising. I had a swinging (new word needed please. I've seen the sadness in some women who just wanted to please insensitive partners by going along with it) couple in India read my first post. This is a phenomenon. But why am I still hiding my true face, concealed in a flashing mandorla of energy? Why are you hiding, hesitating, humiliated by what you are and want? We need to reach out and connect more and use technology and any means. We are new people living in a time that has never been known before, still seeking carnality as our ancestors did. Our life here is very, very brief. And we are also people who have allowed a new pornocracy to develop. The US porn industry is $10 billion per year, more than Hollywood, and they are not even good at it. The girls almost never come. Chastity pointed that out to me, and she also worried about the absurd implants, she knew how insecurity could affect the most erotically powerful of her sex.
