I see her
Dark and mysterious
With rain falling on her
Her dress clinging
As she stands below the streetlight
Waiting for who knows?

Is she waiting for me
To bring her in from the rain
To wrap her silken sheets
To cover her in honey
And then slowly eat dessert
To become the thunderstorm
That parts her thighs
To make her thankful
That she is caught in the torrent
Of my lust
Of my desire
Of both of our needs

The calm after the thundering rain
The thundering deluge
The thundering of our bodies
A hummingbird wakes us
To the sun
But there is no feeling
Quite like the rain
