Taking the Plunge

I answered a blog sent out by a recent acquaintance that asked, "Would you get drunk and crazy with the person who posted this?"

You know the routine, you copy it, paste it as a new post after adding your name and comments. Well, I said "absolutely", and made some specific comment that only this person would know what I was implying.

I checked my email later and she replied with a single word: "When?"

Now I absolutely would love to party with this person... but I am incredibly nervous about the fact that I expressed "more" in my post. I honestly didn't think she would read my post and now that she has, am I on the hook? It's been well over a year since I have been with anyone and the fact that I was so "crafty" in my post, and how QUICKLY she responded... well honestly, I am shocked.

When "taking the plunge" with someone new, how do you do it? Do you initiate this activity yourself? Perhaps just go with the flow? Do you let your potential partner take control and lead in the moment?

Could you maybe just meet her for a couple of drinks and take it from there. I always arrange meets with a relaxed attitude, usually saying that there should be no definate expectations. Fancying someone and knowing them online is a different thing to wether there will be chemistry in the real world. You go for it mate and all the best of luck to both of you.

Q. What's the last thing that goes through a fly's mind when it hits a windscreen?
