The beauty of "No-Mind"

I was walking home from work today and I came to a very busy intersection. There was a mother there with her daughter about 1 year old. Just as the light was about to change, the little girl had to turn back and pick little yellow flowers in the grass. Living purely in the present. I looked at the mother and said, "There is nothing more important in the whole world right now than to pick little yellow flowers." She laughed. Children live in such an intense nowness that is so wondrous.

Just like the song by Gosho, "When the lightning flashes, how wounderous he who thinks not that life is fleeting."

Dear BAG

Could 'see' the scene in my mind...of a girl *since am imagining,it might as well be me!, turning at the last moment...the yellow of a flower catching her eyes and bending down to scoop it up...meeting the eyes of you who was behind me all along, watching with the moment wove itself out.

Mmm. I like. That was amazing no?

Oh yes, very wondrous! I tells me that I am not totally lost in this world's ways and that I'm not caught up in the past or the future. It shows me that I am alive and living a good life. Life is a precious gift and one must savour every precious moment that we pass in this temporal existance. The demons (if there are such a things) have not taken me away.
