On second thought...

Turns out, she couldn't make it and told me via e-mail.

One problem: I didn't read the e-mail until AFTER I came from the restaurant. So, like a jackass, I waited an hour for a date that would never arrive, thinking "I've been stood up AGAIN. This is the third time. Un-fucking-believable." I've been stood up twice previously, and it's a miserable feeling. I wound up conceding defeat, walking home and renting a porno so I could, to quote Peter Green from the original Fleetwood Mac, "jerk away all dem blues."

After getting home, I logged on and read that she wouldn't make it. I feel somewhat better; at least she didn't just ditch me. She asked if we could reschedule, and I replied yes. She hasn't answered back as of yet. So instead of a good dinner followed by good sex, my Tuesday night will involve me, frozen dinner and Latin Invasion. Not the way I envisioned it happening.

When (or really, IF) we do hook up, I'll describe it all here.

Sorry to get your hopes up, if you were anticipating reading my sexual escapades.

Becky, anytime, baby. Anytime.

Purry, I'm not ready to write her off yet, although she still hasn't responded. I'm probably wasting my time with this one.
