TMI???

I have reread some of my "revealing" posts here and in the Health Journey group, such as sharing about my physical ailments and meds.

I wonder if I am guilty of allowing too much personal info about myself flow through them? Does anyone else have these thoughts after they post? I wish I knew.

I use the boards to share, vent, and learn. But I don't want to become one of those people that totally take over the discussions until everyone avoids reading their posts altogether.

Have I ever mentioned I worry too much about totally stupid things late at night? lol

I guess it's better than snacking though right????

If you really regret a post after you make it, you can always delete them. As it is, this is a place for you to put "out there" whatever is on your mind. Don't feel bad about doing so; anyone who's not interested in those type of posts, will simply not read them. In the meantime, some people who do read them, may not always make a comment, but may still send prayers, well-wishes, healing energies, etc., in your direction. For me, to send these things is a privilege and a chance to use whatever gifts I've been given, for the good of others. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. Don't deprive us of that opportunity, unless it makes you uncomfortable to reveal things.

I don't regret giving too much information about myself. I do sometimes wonder if I've worded things the way I wanted to. I don't like to be misinterpreted. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings or give anyone the wrong impression. I second-guess myself a lot. I suspect we're kindred spirits in this. But if one post doesn't come out right, I can always make another one to straighten things out. And one post is just that: one post. The most brilliant post I ever made is always the next one [lol]. The people who make their way here are very understanding. The important thing is to keep talking. And listening.

The Berrigal who comes through in your posts is a warm, funny, sexy, incredibly inspiring woman. Don't deprive us of her. Go back and re-read your entry from yesterday about giving up on regrets. Just be yourself, Berri. The rest will fall into place.

I like your posts. The operative word here is genuine.

And, yes I'm always cautious about what I write, although you would never guess from all the crazy stuff I post.
