Journey to a Healthier ME! (second weigh-in)

3.2 more pounds came off this past week!!!

I'm dancing for JOY!!! lol

I added more walking to my schedule. Eating out while I was away this week was not as difficult as I thought it would be.

I walked to a fast food restaurant every evening from our motel room, which was about a quarter mile, and purchased a 99 cent side salad with fat free dressing and walked back to the room. When my tummy would growl for a bedtime snack, I ate the salad. YUMMERS!

When eating out for lunch, I stuck to a sandwich and ditched half the bread with a small salad, and for dinner we found a great place with grilled chicken and veggies.

I keep experimenting with new spices to make the foods taste different. I don't want to get into the routine of eating the same ole same ole everyday.

I hope everyone that is following this blog and trying to become healthier too had a good week....feel free to post comments, advice or just a joke if ya

Be sure to drink LOTS OF WATER. Sometimes thirst is mistaken for hunger. Apples are very filling. Only problem with them is they make me so farty!
Exercise really boosts the weight loss. Cardio and resistance.I can't say enough good things about weight lifting.
Don't be a slave to the scale, gauge yourself by how your clothes fit.
I only know these things because I've been there. I would wish you good luck but luck has nothing to do with it.You can do it.

Thank you jay! I have found the hunger/thirst debate to be true. I have started drinking an 8 ounce glass of water before I feed the hunger pains now. More often than not, that satisfies them until meal time.
I hope to do more exercise as the pounds come off. It's hard to carry this body around
Ditto on the apples too LOL
Hugs! Thanks for posting to my blog!

how bout a joke i posted early in my blogging days that no one saw. (or cared about is more likely)

Q. What is the difference between a golf ball and an errogenous zone?

A. A man will spend 15 minutes looking for a golf ball.

have a good one and stay strong!
