I am leaving on a jet plane.....

On May the 10 I will be on a jet plane going to Korea.

I right now feel dazed about the entire concept of returning back to a country I called home- left- and now I will be returning to?

Maybe I should back up a bit. When I left Korea in August of 2005 I really thought I was leaving for good. I would not see Korea for another... oh 3 years to never.

And now I will be signing lucretive contract on Monday and beginning the paper work, packing, and good byes to leave this place. I will then spend the next four months teaching in S. Korea.

Just to throw out a random fact. I never moved till I was 25. I stayed in the same house for all of that time. Since I hit 25, I have moved three times. And with this upcoming experience I will move another 2 more times all within three years.

Right now I am just in a haze.

Just breathe...you'll have awonderful time. You'll still be blogging right? I wish all the best and a safe, uneventful move.

Dear Shyvixen, thanks for the best wishes. I hope peace occurs for all of us. Peace is definately desired.

Dear MzHuny, Since you posted this I have closed my eyes and tried to imagine you in S. Korea. I think you would have a ball. I do believe the Koreans would ask you to slow down a little when you talk, they wouldn't be able to follow. Hugs.

Dear MMo, I feel more sublime than anything else.

Dear Snatch, Thank you.

Dear Tiller, In the time I really was walking around going oh my god I am really going back, I was breathing. Just somewhat unsure why I was contemplating going back. I think that is the hardest thing to deal with. The rationale for an action. And till I came up with that answer I felt like a chicken with its head cut off; still moving around but lost.

Oh the answers for why I am going to Korea are: to make my experience when school starts again in September much easier. With the money I will make abord I wont have to take on a part time job which will interfer with my studies. And I am also going because I I love to teach.

An update: I signed my contract today. I will be leaving in May about a month from today. I am uncertain if I will have an internet connection there. I guess I could go to the multiple and cheap pc rooms and check blogs, but we will see when I arrive in Seoul. Thank you all for your support and kind words. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Steven
