Cubs Game 041106

I am sitting here watching the Cubs game on WGN. I was at the game yesterday. I love Wrigley Field. The game was such a disappointment. We had a great time regardless of the loss and that is what matters most. I must say, I am exhausted. Maybe I was just a bit too overzealous to make a long, one day trip to Chicago just over 2 weeks after major surgery. I am paying for it today! So here is my version of the Cubs game:

First inning: Reds home run, Cubs ZIP
Second inning: Reds home run, Cubs NADA
Third inning: Reds home run, Cubs Nothing
Fourth inning: Reds home run, Cubs Zero
Fifth inning: No points either team
Sixth inning: Grand Slam and a home run Reds!
Seventh inning: No points either team
Eighth inning: Reds Nothing, Cubs 1 run batted in
Ninth Inning: Reds nothing, Cubs home run!

As we were leaving the game we had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie "Woo WOO" Wickers. It was our honor to meet, pose with and get his autograph! For those of you that do not know who he is.....Woo Woo is the Cubs most famous fan. A documentary has been made about it. The documentary opened April 1, 2006. All proceeds benefit Chicago Coalition for the Homeless. He was a homeless man and huge fan. He credits Cubs baseball for helping him in life. His Grandma took him to his first Cubs game.If you want to read about him check out his website ronniewoowoo. I have listened for his renowned "Cubs WOO Cubs WOO" rant when at the games but have never been able to hear them where we have been seated. God bless you, Woo Woo!
