Everything right now is tight to me.

I dunno the lesson learned in "doing tight"

Possible restrained? Let me explain...

My rings are tight.. my clothes feel tight.. my joints are tight..my muscles are tight they rip with use and let me feel it. My headaches remind me my head is tight. My feelings are tight either to snap off and burst out or restrained and calm but not content. I feel cramped. The world is restraining upon Me. I hate the feeling of not being able to express myself because some bible thumpers in the south wanted to make their constituents happy with passing of bill 2257. Choice hanging in the balance with Roe v wade for possible upturn..South dakota with their state passure of restrictive laws...

Once there was a place where you can be free.. home of the free and the brave.. a place where u could do whatever u want as long as you observed the golden rule.. it is the IDEA OF AMERICA.

I miss it desperately.

The country is going backwards and it's scaring me to death. After they are finished Roe v Wade they will try to take the vote away from women.

I miss it too

I hope that the conservative/liberal pendulum has swung to it's extreme and is now on it's way back towards center. I don't mind that people disagree with me, and perhaps are more conservative. However it bothers me that they attempt to achieve their goals dishonestly.

The state of South Dakota, knowing full well what the state of the Federal law is, has conspired to deny people of their constitutional rights, on the belief that they *might* be upheld in the courts.

Lets ban books, on the belief that the Supreme Court might uphold it. While we're at it, let's create a national church, and a race, and a sex (male, of course).

You're all disingenuous rat bastards.

when these things happen in the US, it is scary for all of us... i am scared to see how little resistance there is in the US; it's as if people blindly believe their rights won't be taken just cos they believe they won't be taken... worrying! (i know it is a nightmare vision, but i have had recurring "handmaid's tale" type dreams.)

What ever happened to tolerance, love and acceptance. I find it bizzare
how intolerate religous zealots are.
This present administration is taking us down a bad road. How about those of us that can claim 99 exemptions on our W4. Save the money and wait till April 07 to send it to DC. We could dry up the cash flow for a bit and maybe get some attention.
I suppose I better call an attorney and get him on retainer for wrtiting such a thought.

There are so many "states" in USA ... so I guess the situations will be very different in each one of them. Anyway, I saw a documentary about migrants from Cuba and a secondary topic astonished me: The newcomers were let at their own risk in their new society and, from the very border line, in the desks of immigration, they received from the officers flyers of diverse "churches" to ask them for help. When one of the -real- characters suffered and invalidating accident, his best option was to ask for help to an evangelic community, and he become minister. Remains religion as a the main provider of social security in the United States as it was in Europe during the XIX century and the firs half of the XX century? If it is so, for migrants and for the poorest people, I am not surprise that people and the ones that helps them "gets conservative and a religious zealot", they rewards the ones that are really useful for them.
