No longer...

It has been said from the men on the site that theyd wish a womann to reply to them even if it is a polite rejection.

After numerous tries, I am no longer responding to the mail that I am not interested in.

Below is a typical occasion with the people I do kindly infom I am not interested. Women the best move is silence and the trash can.

Effective Immediately.

> I'm sorry that you did not have an attraction to me. Thats a impulse personal judgment call that one needs to make. As rejection is always hard to take, thats how it goes and I'll respect yours. As for my manners, we are on a sex web site, I didn't think I needed to ask if I could "please take you out for wine-ing, dinning, and love making". I thought it was a given by anyone posting on this site. Our reasons for being on the site differ I guess. Sorry if you didn't like the approach, but I believe in cutting to the chase and be straight forward about my intentions. I take it that you would of rather be finesse and BS-ed into the bedroom. Sorry, not my style. Reading your profile, I thought you didn't like it that way either. My mistake, wish you the best in your sexual adventure...

It saddens me why men can not take a no thank you and just leave it alone instead of saving their fragile ego and replying to something thats a moot point or have to make wrong character assumptions about the person.

Least I DID reply, but now Im not going to in the future because this is just an uneccessary hassle.

Is is much simpler to delete and block after the initial email. Good luck next time!

Perhaps we maybe on a sex site but I was not aware that meant to leave manners or couth behind . I also was not aware that a sex site also meant that inorder to be on here you had to be crude or lacking in the social niceties .The was he brings himself across do you even think you would get dinner. I was once told that "men are pigs, they'll say anything to get laid."

I'm but a dick. I can't talk. I kinda have to stand up and wave and hope I draw attention to myself.

He's one of those guys who thinks that saying no 5 times and then explaining why, really means "maybe". It's not all gender though. I've had a similar instance happen to me on another site. Absolute silence is the best cure.......

"As for my manners, we are on a sex web site, I didn't think I needed to ask if I could "please take you out for wine-ing, dinning, and love making"."

The above quote tells me that this person just doesn't get it. I can't remember, when joining AdultFriendFinder, that I was advised to "leave your manners at the door".

I've read a lot of women's profiles on this site. They pretty much run the gamut from, "seeks soul mate for life" to "bend me over and fuck me in the ass, already", and all points in between.

I appreciate good manners in people when I talk to them for the first time (wit, charm, cheek and sass is also welcome). Therefore I always go on the assumption when contacting women on AdultFriendFinder, no matter what their profile text says, that they too appreciate good manners.

Many men on this site think that AF F is some sort of bad B movie singles bar where all the guys go to hook up. They use about the same amount of inteligence in writing. Personally I think that reveals a much larger problem, but that is a post for another day. I personally go back and forth on the rejection thing. sometimes I don't want to even see the rejection letter and sometimes I appreciate any email I might get even if it is a rejection.

delete, delete, delete. Even when these "men" see that your not looking they message.

Or, in my case I got a couple from men who apparently were quite upset that I had listed specific characteristics that I looked for and so they would send a message merely to attack my character saying "take out an ad in the paper and pay someone to like you" and "geeze, no one could live up to that"...etc. Totally not necessary to go and attack me...they had/have no idea who I am or what I am about.

One asshole, only wanted to see my network pics...cuz I reckon he thought I had nude ones in it...ha. little did he know there were none...not even semi nude. Then when he discovered that there weren't bitched me out big time.

However, I have since met someone, am in love and will be moving to Riverside, CA. as soon as all the details are worked out...woo hoo.

~~~ Just me, poppin to say HI! ~~
Way too many men think this is a sexual fast food service, where they can come in and have a woman delivered to their door. I don't remember signing anything when I joined saying yes, I am willing to be a free hooker for any horny bastard who wants to get laid. This is why, I no longer answer mail from these men. They seem to think that on this site, it's ok to use manners that would get them kicked out of swing clubs and bars. None of us like rejection. However, even a simple, "no thank you, I'm not interested," they will fight you for weeks if you let them. They think they can wear you down to the point where they win. After all, they paid for their ball, so they feel they're entitled to get laid. Fucktards.
Barbiebunny, I, too, decided it was better to delete than reply, even if it was a polite "no thank you." I've posted (and a bit of ranting, too) about this lack of manners on my own blog based on my experiences. My standard action now is delete, block, if necessary and then move on.
It cracks me up that some men assume just because it's a sex site that the women on here are prostitutes.
