Women (or Men): Can't Leave 'em, Can't Shoot 'em

I hear about this situation all the time: a married couple lives in the same home but in different rooms, or they have two separate households. I’m in a similar situation, and am wondering how many others are out there like that. Our families don’t understand, although my in-laws (her parents) are doing the same thing.

Anybody out there with similar experiences?

I am currently in the exact same position. Been married for 15 years. Husband does not sleep with me in the same room. We have no sex life for 3 years, but he has his honey on the side. He has given me permission to have an affair, but to date I have not.

Youch, sorry to hear that. Being married, not having sex with a willing wife but having something on the side makes no sense. It's too bad I don't get to the Columbus area anymore.

Yes, I have a so called marriage of 29 years and i have been on couch (by choise) just no sexual drive , but i just turned 40 and mine is going in overdrive. I am fairly new to the DFW area, so looking for a friendship with benefits taht means more than a one night stand - someone to enjoy the life we are missing out on-from dining, cooking together, and enjoying each others company, and if that involves sex woohooooo. I to must be descrete !!!
