What ever happened to...staying up late.

For someimte now I have noticed that I do not stay up as late as I used to. In the past i could easily stay up until 1 or 2 in the morning with no problems. NOw it seems that as soon as the clock hits 10:30 I am out.

I suppose alot rides on the fact that I now get up at 5 in the morning, but even before that started I was going to bed earlier. I wish I could say it was because I was having sex, but in truth it was because I was tired.

It started shortly after i stopped living on campus during college. through college it was not as bad as it is now, I could easily manage 12 during the week and 1-2 on the weekends. I think they must add something to the air in the buildinds and housing on campus that causes a chemical reaction in your body that while exposed to it keeps your sleep needs to a minimum, but after you are no longer exposed it jumps up and tries to over copensate.

Sure alot could do with the fact that I am getting older, have more stress, have to work a full time job, and all the other wonderful responibility hat comes from being an adult on your own. But I prefer the previous theory, it keeps me from thinking about getting older. Yes I know I am still young, but I am getting older. It can't be stopped.

I once tried to stay up later, yes I kept my morning wake up time the same. What happened? I feel asleep at work. Guess that didn't work.

I suppose I must come to terms, staying up late has come to an end, except of course for those few wild nights of unbriddled sex, but who has the time when you have to get up early the next day?
