look up in the sky...bird? plane?

there she lay before me, covered in tissue, keeping the alluring sharp edges and physique.

faster than a speeding bullet!
stronger than a locomotive, yes!

i unwrapped her beautiful body and lay her on the ground in disarray, although in that very moment, i proceeded to jet across the green pasture.

she leaped into the air, like the great beast she intended to always be. i was devoted solely on her.
she flew, defying all nature, today. she glided with such slight wind, with a brazen dragon silhouette fading closely in shadow.

soring overhead, i stared astounded, into the depths of the oakley (sun-wear) brown-tinted sky. collections of "lets go fly a kite,"(mary poppins), danced across my brain. it's not broadway stamina, like 'beauty and the beast', to me. adoring julie andrews, i admit the kite idea was a blast this afternoon. however, personally, i'm not that gay and don't aspire to be. singing predominately joyous, in 1900's ruffled fashion wear with matching frilly umbrellas (in 100 degree texas weather), isn't my forte'!

i'd rather try positioning a fiery kite in hell.

print that on a bumper sticker

based on chinese superstition:

to avoid bad luck, fly a kite. the higher the kite, the more prosperous you will become. if the kite string breaks and the kite drifts into a house, it is a bad omen and the kite must be destroyed to avoid misfortune. If the kite falls in a neighboring courtyard you can retrieve it, but the neighbor needs to punch two holes in the kite to remove the bad luck.

Hot TX weather should lend well to flying a kite, and without a doubt there is a certain amount of relaxation to be had by doing the flying; you probably even forget the 100 degree weather...at least briefly. My question to you...what would it take to get you to sing ala Dame Andrews AND wear clothing from the early 1900s?
