the math doesn't add up

Is casual sex dead? I mean, at least after college?

Are there really that many more men then women out there looking for casual relationships? And that means everything from anonymous sex to friends to the hackneyed friends with benefits. Hell, enything short of "we're courting, hoping for a long term relationship."

All I want is to meet people, meet friends, possibly more, hopefully more when the chemistry is right.

Either women just don't want or enjoy sex as much as men (nope, that myth has been debunked) or I'm just not looking in the right places (AdultFriendFinder included).

I don't think casual sex is dead at all. I do think that there are a whole lot of women out there who think that's what they're looking for, but when the rubber hits the road, they can't handle that kind of relationship...and yes, even casual is a sort of relationship. I actually find that "casual" is a pretty amazing way to form closer bonds of friendship than I ever thought possible. It's hard to explain, but I've met people (yes men!!) online that I would never have had the opportunity to know without this source. I love online dating and the interesting people, both men and women, that have come into my life because of it. So, yeah, I vote for casual sex not being dead...it's a matter of finding someone who thinks the same. Trust me ambidext...it's not just women who have that "courting" mentality!!

If you are strong and push through the pain and the fear, you often find that happiness is waiting for you on the other side.
