My lose...=(

So I havent really been all into this blog the past little while, I lost my brand new little girl puppy last week. She was the cutest little thing, only 12 weeks old. They figure that nothing had developed right and they were amazed she lived this long. Wish I could post a picture of her but thats agaisnt the rules I think.

Ive never really lost a pet before its kinda hitting me alittle harder than I thought it would. Any words of wisdom to get over a lose?

hey baby sorry about your loss... I have had 7 dogs in my life.. it doesnt get any easier.. i get attached to pets very easily... and when I was 10 I had a puppy for 1 week and then it died from parvo.. i had to hold it as they put it asleep.. one of the saddest moments in my life.. best thing for me was to get another pet and just know that its like losin a part of your family.. but if you are like me its a part of my family i cant live without... best thing to help forget is a distraction

mastiffs huh... big dogs... its ok i like dorks =0) ... well atleast you have a good memory to follow the bad one now.. guess it was just her time.. just concentrate on the other ones.. or something else.. it will take some time but the sorrow will get better

I feel the same as you, Amberacrombie - my pooch is part of the family. When she goes...well, I don't quite know how I'll handle it. I haven't been through it before and my heart goes out to you. It's sad that pets can bring such joy to our lives but they are only here for such a short time. I hope that in that 12 weeks your pup was (undoubtedly) able to lite up your face with a smile many times...

Sorry to here about your loss, I've raised dogs most of my life and it never gets easier. Right now I have a dog that is 14 and getting to that point. They are part of the family when you loose one it hurts. The best advice I can give you is to hug the ones you have left and cry when you need to. Everyday it will hurt a little less and the memories will get a little brighter for you. So smile and keep your chin up.

Words of wisdom? hummmm... the only thing I can think of is that time heals all wounds.... so silly but it is true. I lost my dog of 9 years 3 or 4 years ago and I still think about her... loss of a pet is a tuff thing... it is ok to feel bad and hurt.... keep your chin up doll.... and if you need a shoulder to lean/cry on or an ear just to listen... I am here
