Mac pouts

Ever have one of thise really funky days where nothing you do seems to go right?

I'm having one of those days. I've had 2 posts here today already and yanked both of them. Why? Uhmm, it's my blog and I can do whatever I want? No that's not it although it's true.

There are 2 reasons actually:

1) Cause I feel inept at converying something meaningful, neither post meant anything.

2) This touches on one of the blogs, I am not sure I should be here.

I love blogging. I do. It's a creative outlet that I would have never explored had I not been here. I wound up here by playing a practical joke on my best friend.

There are plenty of blogging websites. Honestly, I've never been to any of them. I am certain I could blog from the homepage of my ISP. Why don't I do that? (shrugs)

Basically, I'm having a pity party for myself in this very blog. I have a terrible case of the NOT GOOD ENOUGHS. We all feel this way from time to time.

Sometimes I feel this way most of the time. I have ego issues today. I wanna be better, smarter and sexier than anyone here. Doesn't matter if you're male or female, black, white, green with pink polka-dots, fat, skinny, young, old and so forth.

I think I've just been here too fucking much lately. Probably a good thing that I go back to work tomorrow.

So, any one besides me been bitten by the green eyed monster?

I really like my earlier comment about the nap and milk...truth be told, and it always is...this is your blog. I'm picking up what you are putting down...and I've got a bit of the monster in me as well. Both of my best friends are happily married 2.3 children, cat, dog, etc...you know, the Cleavers meet the Cosby family. Anyway, I feel what your saying...I've been to the pity party before, bounce back, and try to go on from there. Perhaps we'd all just like a little more recognition in our professional lives and our personal lives...I like attention, could use more of it. But, such is the life of a spy...sometimes it is what it is...plenty more, but must get grub in my grill! You go!

PA-LEASE! I spend hours checking every word, scrutinizing each comma, pondering periods, agonizing over apostrophes, just to be sure my comments are good enough to be on YOUR BLOG!

Did I say PLEASE? Can I get an AMEN?

Peace.

Yukonpaul...LMAO...Mac is NOT the green-eyed monster. That's just colorized...

Aw, Mac...cheer up. Okay, this oughta make you giggle: I read one of your sentences as [B]"think I've just been fucking too much lately"...amazing what leaving out one word and transposing two others can do.

LOL! At first glance, I read that line the same as mmmgoodnova. I guess that where our minds are.

I just started reading your blog like... yesterday? I'm very selective in those I follow - I don't even waste my time on my blog, so please don't feel inadequate.

Just so you know Intensity, I FREQUENTLY act as a pimp for new blogs. I will check yours out, if I like, I'll post here that I lik eit. If not, I will put it on my watched list and see how you do. Some folks take a ll while to find their feet. Thanks for reading my blog. I'm always honored when people choose to do so Mac

We all have those days. There are days that I wonder why I bother blogging at all. I see people who have 50 comments on a hour and a half old blog and I wonder what am I doing wrong? Answer-Nothing, I blog for me, I don't need comments to validate myself.
You have tons of readers who think that you are all that and a bag of chips. Keep doing what you do, we love it.
A little big of the green eyed monster now and again can be a good thing. Just don't let it get out of hand.

Yeah, I think some jealousy can be a good thing. It makes a person try harder. Thanks for visiting me dragon Mac

mac, I LOVE reading your blog. And I never would have found it if it were out there on blogger or myspace or any of those other blogging sites!

Hey! *I* wanna be better, smarter and sexier than anyone here!! LOL!

In other words, YES, it happens to all of us.

absolutelynormal replies on 5/4/2006 4:18 pm:

Agree with chislut--yes, I get envious as well. I don't post that often because I don't feel that I have anything that scintillating, creative or different to say. I read some of the other blogs and laugh out loud, marvel at the creative fantasies expressed, am impressed by a deft turn of phrase, etc...and mine is just pretty much "this is what happened and how" or "this is what I feel at this moment." Not particularly creative. Maybe I was supposed to be a writer of technical manuals. Nah, on second thought I really just don't have the expertise...

absolutelynormal replies on 5/4/2006 5:19 pm:
OH PUHHHLEASSEEE!! Do you read your own stuff?? You write so well! WHy do you think your on my list? well other than the fact that I like ya, because you write well! You are one of the smartest people here too.

My goodness at the validation here. It's obvious that you are loved.

I started my blog because of someone else and then she left the site. Not very good at original thoughts, I'd rather spend my time reading other people's and commenting. So from my perspective you are doing me more good than I'm doing you, and for that I apologize.

Now about that phrase "been fucking too much lately".......

absolutelynormal replies on 5/4/2006 5:22 pm:
See, this is what I love about blogville, we all support each other. I go to someone else's blog, they're having an off day, I leave them a comment lending my support.

Now about that phrase, Mac points at mmmgoodnova.

Sorry your friend left, Mac
