Did Ya Cum Yet?

Mood: Retarded

I've been admonished for not finishing my stories. I know, I know, it's true. I get in the middle of one and then I don't know how to finish it.

Well, now that's not quite true, I know how to finish it, hell I lived eighty percent of them anyway, so I know how it ends.

Here's the thing though, does it really matter? Is it in the details, or is it the outcome that counts here?

I could finish this by saying something like and Mac had the biggest orgasm ever and he came too, but hell you already knew that! This is why these stories come to a halt. You already know what happens.

Does knowing the end of a story keep you from reading it?

We all know that Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella all "lived happily everafter." What would happen if Sleeping Beauty ended with Prince Charming kissing her but it didn't do any good, so they call in the Code Team, but they don't have any luck either. The doctor declares her braindead and her parents donate her organs and then sell all her ball gowns to raise money for coma victims.

Could Disney make a small fortune on that? Would it be "the feel good movie of the summer"?

What if Grumpy was really Snow White's pimp? What if they weren't really just a bunch of diamond miners but manufacturing "rock" in a secret underground lab? What if the mirror said to the wicked step-mom, "no stupid you aren't the fairest of them all, it's Miss Texas?"

What if Cinderella's step sisters got her drunk and sold her to white slave traders? And what if this Prince Charming were secretly gay?

See I could make my stories much more entertaining, if the outcome didn't have to be the same everysinglefuckingtime.

Good grief mac. How could someone named Prince Charming be SECRETLY gay?

I have NO problem making up my own ending. Try writing just the middle or end once. Now that would be a challenge.

I do write the middle, I write it all but we always seem to find the same destination. Perhaps it's the journey that counts?

LMAO. This is some funny stuff. But the picture is damn disturbing!

Ya know, you could pull an O. Henry with your stories. That would give you an excuse to finish them.

I think I will lay off stories for a bit, no one really responds to them anyway.

I love all those stories much better than the originals. OOOh will you do Pinnochio, instead of becoming a real boy he could have been used as kindling for a bonfire for a pig roast ala "The three little barbacued pigs", oh and little red riding hood could have gotten bit by the big bad wolf and died a slow lingering and painful death from rabies!!!!!! I LOVE it!!!!!!!

Well, you're the writer. Haven't you answered your own question here?

Also, I can relate to not finishing stories. I began posting Blog It Forward with only a rough outline to guide the way, (that I discarded after the story began). Now it just sits in limbo and I wonder if I will ever finish it.

That was the first deviation I have made from my standard Blogplay procedure which is to write the thing in it's entirety before beginning to post it publicly.

Thanks Keith, yeah I should probably work on something in word and then ccp it here when I am done with it.

I never finish my stories either. I don't like "endings".

What IS that a picture of? It looks like something out of Jeffrey Dahlmer's freezer...

It's just two lil babies (I think Jeffrey ate all the penises)

Sounds more like real life to me

Lets here it so we all know we are on the same dysfunctional boat {=}

just a squirrel trying to get a nut

Dysfunctional? There are people here who are dysfunctional? Where? Who knew?

Hey Mac Well... I know I love a good abrupt end of a story, even if it's not THE END of THE STORY. I wish I could get away that but...
if you've promised more to come (cum) like I did - then they become 'cliff hangers.' That's struggle for me, that 'cliff hangers' was my ending, now it's gotta be a beginning too. You only comment on my stories, I was hoping someone would catch the play on words in my 'Weird Stuff' post - I don't know if they did even when I tried to point it out in the last sentence. Oh well...

Write for thine own pleasure.
