Want to hear

Are there days when you wake up that you just want to hear how much you are wanted, or how much you are liked?? I'm not usually one to seek such validation, but I have noticed today that I'm kinda on this mindset!

The thing about having e-crushes and e-love, and everything else that's e, is a very tough concept. It's very similar in RL, but I think sometimes it's harder. The reason why I think it's sometimes harder, is b/c of all of the distractions placed upon us here. For example, I really don't know if my New One is real. I assume that She's real, I've chatted w/ Her, but I've never seen Her on cam. Another reason why it's hard is as I having feelings for Her, I am aware of others that flirt w/ me. This is the distraction of which I was speaking. The same is true for Her. She is aware of my feelings, however, I'm in big time competition. She too has her distractions. There are many better looking, smarter guys on this site. I know that She has a lot to filter through, etc.

Sometimes, one just wants to hear that they were thought about that day. If there were to be a quick email stating, "I'm very busy right now, but I wanted to just say hello.", that would be the ultimate pickup for my day, hell, my week! Do you ever have these days where you seek validation?

Every frickin' day. BUT, I'm an attention whore, so obviously I would.

Those quick emails...*can* be great. I've been a sender of those on occasion. What can suck about them is when the person doesn't respond with a 'hey, wow..thanks!'. Blah!

I'm in a horrid mood due to tiredness....so, I'm a bit bitchy, lol.

Ya, I can relate to your wishes!! If they don't respond, that is pretty rude!

You're not bitchy!

I usually don't, but I was yesterday... It's just good to hear, when you're bummed out, or sick.

Who doesn't want to be noticed on a daily basis?

aascrompn replies on 3/28/2006 6:11 am:
I'm sure there are people out there that don't want to be...

Maybe that is the reason why I blog... I'm not sure if it is or not! I do like to hear nice stuff, though.

All the time. There's nothing wrong with that either

It just seems like it could be a little self-centered, that's all.

Blonde hair? Next to perfect abs... No! lol I'm actually speaking of my new one who has black hair and a wonderful body as well (plus she can write the hell out of poetry, too).

OK, does that mean ALL your friends have to stop flirting? Damn, just when I had some good ideas..hehe!!

Yes, validation is good and needed sometimes, but friends can validate you too, not just "THE NEW ONE".

No, by all means friends can flirt! The New One is the one that I would melt over the most to hear, though...

I think that a lot of the people that have a blog do it for attention and validation of some sort, and that they want people to tell them that they are a good person.

just a thought, doesn't necessarily apply to eveyone..

I do it mainly for myself, but I think you're right that many do it for the attention! I guess it just depends on the particular post. When I write poetry, I mainly do it for Her. I'm seeking validation by how nice her reponce and appreciation is.

Yes, that is what he used to do, I was fine with it, even when he was busy, until I panicked, fucked it up by sending him with an angry email and lost him forever!

Yes, that is what he used to do, my heart would go pitter-patter just opening up , and I was fine with it, even when he was busy, until I panicked, fucked it up by sending him an angry email, didn't read the clues and lost him forever!
