New Horizons

Ok, so I feel better today than I have felt in the last, at least, 9 months! I got up this morning and ran on the tread mill for about 30 mins. I took my lexpro and was then able to go to the mall (walked it around it twice b/c I could ) I then went to the pet store to get food for the animals (it was chaotic as hell). I had zero problems w/ my anxiety! I know I will have down times again, but I have to be honest. This is going to work!! Love all of you contributing to my success!

I am glad you are feeling better.

I had major anxiety attacks a few years ago when my son was doing drugs and exercising and breathing exercises really helped.

Hey bro! Anxiety is not easy to deal with, but sharing breaks its crippling affect. As you probably know, facing the very things you fear is the place to start. Remember, things like going to the mall are major victories and you should reward yourself. Even if it returns, don't beat yourself up with negative talk. It is a process my friend. Please keep sharing with us, and we will keep cheering you on.

Congrats. I wish you the best sexy smile. I knew as soon as you got back into an exercise routine you'd feel better, take it from me... you are on the right track.

atlnoonerboy - we need to get together and grab a drink! everything for you will look up.

purry - thanks for stopping by! breathing excersises did nothing for me a few days ago... it was that bad. Today, the running and the lexapro seemed to have got it! I really like that main photo you guys have. Great pic.

I just read backwards (meaning chronologically, not literally) and wow...sounds like you're really doing great. Courage comes in packages that we'd never dream we'd need or use, doesn't it?

Yeah, I'm still [blog 1hotwahine]

I hope so Aas ..........I have had tham quite a few times.....and your right confronting them is the only thing to do.......I use to have the biggest problem with large groups of people .......It got to the point where I rarely left my house .....I still have that problem .......and when I don't feel like leaving the house ......or am feeling down I make myself go out if only over to a friends .........I still sometimes have mild aniety attacks but they are a pale shadow of what they use to be ...

hugs Foxy

I don't think you are sharing too much. The more you share, the more power you take away from the monster we call Anxiety.

1hot - Ya, it may seem like baby steps to others, but I'm very happy about the progress. I'm currently at work, and although I'm screwing off, I was unable to even step foot into this building last week!
