Cheer up - it's almost the weekend!

HA! The mocking tone in my voice should be a dead giveaway as to how I feel about that "Monday morning" feeling! Not that I have had to get up on a Monday morning for years! I work nights, and they can be rather stressful on a relationship - not to mention the brain and bones!

However, I find myself here, on the aforementioned Monday morning, can't sleep for some odd reason, and desperate to pass the hours until I return to work this evening. So what do I do to ease the waiting, I hear you ask?

Well, today I am here, back on my favourite website, adding to my newly created blog world, griping on about all that is wrong in my world.

Actually, if I think about it.....all is really pretty cool in my world at the moment. I have my health, great F/friends, and I am looking forward to a well-deserved trip to the States in October, with my bestest pal and fellow-Basement dweller, jacina.

You may have come across her (pardon the pun) at some time during your journey around A.F.F. - she is the one who is usually getting into bother with S/someone for being a bit of a joker!

She has a heart of solid gold, and lives her life to the fullest on a daily basis. She is a sister to me in so many ways, and I am so thankful to have her in my oddly manic life!

Thanx you loads!

Anyway, back to my raving!

Monday mornings have long been associated with feelings of depression, anxiety, misery, wanting to tear the heads of stuffed animals and, of course, having to face that huge pile of work on your desk that you just couldn't be bothered doing on Friday! *Groan*

But fear not! Vix is here with the answer to all your Monday morning woes! Grab your pen and paper and write this down, for you will A/all be thanking your lucky stars that you stopped by to read this.....

My super advice for bearing the strain of the "Monday morning blues" is simply this.......

Sorry....but I did warn you that I have the "Mmb"s myself!!

Anyway, cast off that dull frown, take a grip of yourself by both shoulders and shake until sanity returns. If all else fails, take a wander into A.F.F.s Basement and come say "hi" to 2 of the daftest women in the UK. You will be glad you did, cos we can cheer up the darkest of souls!

And, if all else fails, just keep telling yourself this...."Cheer up - it's almost the weekend!"
