Don't you hate that, "I know I forgot something" feeling every time you leave the house to go somewhere?

Well, for the last few days I've had that feeling. It creeps up on me in the bus and the person standing next to me gives me this look as if to say, "how come I always get stuck with these F *beep*-ing people?"

You know, because when that feeling first creeps up on you, it's kind of freaky. What if I did forget something? And what if that something is really important? If everyone has something and I don't, then this whole trip to somewhere will become somewhat stupid.

And that sucks !!

Suddenly, panic pours through your smile It doesn't drip or seep or seek or melt... that shit pours. And everyone looks at you while you look at them and they look for that and you try to remember what that is should you have previously forgotten it.

Now the whole day is ruined. There should be excitement over where you are going but it's being masked by what you think you forgot. You keep patting your pockets and checking your backpack. Now please be careful checking your backpack... that police guy might thinks you're a terrorist and maybe you are... you just forgot. But ok, lets not go there...

Finally you return home. And nothing seems out of place. You turn on the computer and notice, out of the corner of your eye, that there seems to be an email by someone special...Perhaps I might tell you more about that email later.

I still have no clue what it is and its driving me nuts.

The worst thing I ever forgot was my little baby espresso in a stroller in a supermarket at the check out. I felt awfull and I all blamed the stroller for it of course...
I just checked on my little coffees and they are not missing, and actually thats all that counts and matters to me.

Tell me your worst unforgettable mistake ?

Years ago I was changing the oil in my car. I removed and replaced the filter. I had a telephone call and when I returned to the car, I started putting oil back into the engine. I poured 4 quarts and checked the dipstick. There was no oil on the dipstick. I forgot to put the plug back in the oil pan and the oil was all over the garage floor. From then on I always ckeck 2 times to make sure the plug is in.

Take care.

LMAO don't even get me started. I get that feeling often. Mostly when I'm standing in the kitchen and it's on fire.

Does it count to walk from a party in underwear because you forgot to put you clothes back on after a game of strip poker ??

OK I must confess, alcohol was involved ‒a lot I’m afraid….

and i was young...right?

A rather foolish thing
But took my bike for a spin, to see a art exhibition
about 40Km from home, when back at home, many hours later
my parents asked me why i was so late
Then i realised i forgot my bike and walked home
So i had to go back to pick my bike up again
(did not drink alcohol nor coffee at the time, just water)
