The body lay sprawled upside down atop the good old good girls couch, exhausted.
"Can she be saved?" I asked through a veil of tears in my eyes.
"I don’t know." Erik answered. "But, I’m sure going to try."
My tub mate frowned as he hunched over the body to examine it. I tucked my dark hair behind my ear and wrung the Kleenex in hand as I watched.

"Screwdriver." Erik announced and put his hand out.
A screwdriver with a heavy handle and a brown flashlight lay beside the machine. I took the screwdriver and slapped it in the middle of Erik’s hand.
His full lips flattened into a straight line of concentration as he meticulously unscrewed the silver plate and put it aside.
"Flashlight." I took the flashlight and handed it to Erik. He flashed the light inside.
Erik dipped the screwdriver inside the many-coloured nest of entwining wires and began to work with a surgeon's precision. I admired his skilful hands.
Meanwhile a quiet candle vigil next to the GGC had been going on since word got out. I saw Leyndo hugging Helga to comfort her on this bad Friday. Jerosd was calling his broker for more Kleenex shares, and Nipa was trying to comfort his inflatable love sheep in his very own way.
"Handkerchief." Erik held his hand out again.

I plucked Erik’s red panties from out of his Icelandic Long Johns and softly patted the beads of sweat prominent on his forehead. Goddess and Papyrina were desperately looking for cats to sacrife.
A few minutes passed and Erik stood upright. He shook his dark hair away from his face and swiped a tear from his eye.
"It’s no use," he sighed. "She’s gone."
"No!" …." She can’t be dead." You’ve got to try it again !!!
Erik raised his arms for me and I walked into them. He held my curvaceous body against him as I continued to cry.
"It’s ok," he said. "She’s in a better place."
I lifted my face from Erik’s chest.
"I’ll have to tell the others." Erik said.
"I’ll stand next to you."
Erik and I held hands and faced our friends. The tubber’s eyes looked up at us, their eyes watery and hopeful. EE was hanging in the rafters, she was a nervous wrack without the machine’s black gold, Thunder was munching his own chocolates by dozens.
"We’re sorry, but there was nothing we could do," Erik announced.
Loud, howling, hysterical sobs filled the tub as the tubbers mourned the popular coffee machine’s death….

Yes my dear tubers my coffee machine is not longer with us...
How do I survive this weekend ????

There never was a more tragic tale, Misstress Coffee. I am weeping here - like a child.

See you later. I am going for a long walk. I need to be "alone"

What a great opportunity to upgrade, no sooner had the deceased machine breathed its last breath, and Coffenocreme had driven to her closest Starbucks and *gasp* purchased a new and improved machine!

Does her twin sister not offer her a moment of joy ?
TeaNoMilk must be able to pamper CnC during the restless moments without a Lavazza brewery.
And indeed better, bigger, quicker, must be added with tastier and silently ?
