Greenery

I spend a lot of time apologizing to my plants lately. It's not that I'm negligent ( well maybe just a little)... it's just that there is so much to do on AdultFriendFinder. Sometimes I forget to water a plant for, lets say, august, and then, to make amends, I turn a huge fire hose on the rest of the poor greenery.

And yes my victims add up:... creepers, climbers, berries, shrubs. I even killed many perennial . I feel awful every time it happens. With a short tribute, I bury the plants in my trash bin, knowing the celestial beings will water them with their tears.

It's a good thing we can't get run in for plant murder. I could just see the police officer on my doorstep: "Broken stems, starved for water, grounds in the soil ... Yeah, this is our Mrs T.Bundy."

I remember, my mum said that I had a green thumb. She was, unfortunately, talking about the digit I used to pick my nose. My relationship with nature went down the Dutch hills from there.

Today my home is a living nightmare to plants . Some have already passed on, others are counting the days. They call my name when I enter the room, trying to catch my attention before I logg on to AdultFriendFinder for some more blogging. You can almost hear them gossip among themselves: "Can you believe it ?... she left Fiona dead in the planter?"

In my defense, the plants actually die because of YOU my dear readers...Its all YOUR fault, YOU people make me switch on the computer and blog the day or night away.

It is only for my love of nature that I keep trying and trying. For the record, I have tried everything. For a time I watered the plants with coffee instead of tap. Dead. I worked piles of coffee grounds into their soil.I even talked to the poor guys. I ask the plants how they felt about global warming and tension in the Middle East. I think they died to finally shut me up.

I am about to introduce plastic tulips with those little lights inside, which don't harass me with insignificant things like photosynthesis. I might as well get me a stuffed dog instead of a real one. btw... Our latest family member will arrive the 18th this month

Albeit, at the risk of serial murder, I will carry on. Surely the celestial beings will feel for my persistence and rescue some of my green brownish friends.
Have to go now my friends, I can hear my coffeeplant(coffea arabica) calling.

Liefs Coffee

To avoid this
Took all my plants out of their pottery
Together with the sand
Then put a plastic bag inside (without any holes into it)
And on the side a small plastic tube
Then some little stones, about 1/3 th of the pots hight next to that
Sand and plant on top of that
In the tube a small bol with a sat├ęstick, and a flag onto it
(wrote thursty onto it)
plant can go on for about one month without giving water
so that saved me some time

If forgetting to water plants is a problem get cactii as they will thrive in water depleted environments and some do bloom nicely once they are watered.

Mind you a rock garden does take a lot less work

My green thumb is green because of radioactivity.

Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level then beats you with experience
