Strange people on AFF

Now and again I pop into a chat room. It's amazing how many people are so rude to each other.

My favourite is when one accuses another of being a 'perv'. It's a bit like accusing a person in a football stadium of being a football supporter!

In the BBW room a lady was ranting on about 'looking beyond the body and into the mind' and that guys are 'hung up on body parts'.

Let us analyse this a bit.

The lady was in the BBW room.
The lady is a BBW.
The lady was in the room because that's a good place to chat to men who like BBWs.
The men who like BBWs are into the kind of 'body parts' a BBW can offer.

If these guys were not into 'body parts' they would NOT be in the BBW room. Why would they be so specific in their tastes?

If the lady was so concerned about men 'not looking beyond the physical appearance', why did she situate herself in a room which caters specifically for her own body type? And then moan about it!

This woman considered herself intelligent too!

And some people wonder why they can't get laid!

There is also another side of the coin: conventionally 'unattractive' = intelligent.
concentionally 'attractive' = dim-witted.

Each view (and any such view) is all part of the body-fascism so prevalent in the modern world.

For the record, I love women whatever their shape.

I love slim women, I love BBWs and all points between.

I also LOVE intelligence, regardless of the packaging.

Nothing more annoying than having someone make the effort to email you and say (because he's seen your pics) that he likes BBW, then you read his profile and see that he is interested in only slim/petite women. Get you story straight honey and stop wasting everyone's time.

We're not all on here for a quick free fuck. If I want a fuck from a total stranger, I'll stand on the street corner and at least get paid for it. Intelligent conversation guys, make an effort...please.

David, I've seen and lived through debates such as you described. But the BBW thing is a touchy and often confusing matter, even within the very site. There isn't a black or white, just a multitudes of presumed stigmas and parameters defined by personal preference. I do agree however that some people should actually think before they speak/type. It's the old adage of the fool opening his mouth and therefore removing any doubt. Hugs and Smoochies Dahlink! I Loves Ya!

I don't know about the chat rooms (never been there) but met strange people here yes.

One guy, total stranger, mailed me, was asking for more nude photos.
I tried to reply saying sorry, no way, and what I got in return:

His auto-reply message saying "sorry i don't reply to profiles with erotic photos' or something similar...

I can understand what you are saying Zorro. However I think the lady was trying to express a desire to have her mind as well as her body engaged by the chatter. Yes, she had the parts he was interested in but move beyond that into real dialog. I think it would be like me coming up to you cause I like a man with long hair but only talking about your hair. You are more than your hair as a BBW is more than her parts.

Just my 2 cents.

Maybe some people aren't comfortable in their own skin.
People can say what ever they like about me or my body type.
I like how I look and how I feel about myself.
No one can change that either.
Beside my interesting parts are my brains and intelligence.
Most don't even look for those.
