WHO AM I ? .........:)

To understand me, not an easy thing at times, it is necessary to know my philosophy.
I was born Catholic of French-Canadian parents. The last of four boys. After my parents divorce at age 5 I was raised by a single mom as essentially an "only child". My mother was a regular church member and I was raised in the Protestant church. At that time one could not be divorced AND Catholic so my mother had to become a Protestant. The Christian church and it's values were a major influence on my life until the age of 23-24. So much so that upon receiving my Bachelors degree in Economics from a Liberal Arts College in Colorado I ALMOST applied to a graduate Theological Seminary here in California! Lol Southern California is my birthplace and where I returned to and haved lived since. So much for Historical background! I won't go into how or why I've come to This place in my life. (Too long a story for now I will simply say that I am a Taoist (pr. daoist) and more specifically a believer, student, and practioner of Tai-Chi. The Tao of Tai-Chi is the philosophical basis and dates back to at least the 7th Century A.D. Taoism and Confucianism are the two main schools of ancient Chinese philosophy. Soemtimes refered to as Religions. I was drawn like a magnet to the tremendous ancient wisdom of the Chinese. The Tao and Tai-Chi explain All aspects of life. From the material and scientific to the human and spiritual. All existence is in a Natural Harmony. Tai-Chi offers a "way" to become one with or in harmony with the greater overall balance of existence. It is MY WAY. Like Frank Sinatra, I do it my way! There is NO other choice for me now. It is the path I've chosen. Or has it chosen me? Either way it is the the Path I've called the one less taken.....

Will, have you ever read Mantak Chia's writings? I believe he is a Chinese Taoist- it's been about a year since I've picked up one of his books. From time to time some man will post a question about masturbation and I'll answer it with a reference to Chia. As far as I can tell, no one on here has ever registered that this is a valuable resource to men learning about husbanding their sexual energy. Like pissing in the wind to even mention it. I must admit, I'm not deeply familiar with him. It goes contrary to my American "I want, I get... NOW!" perspective. But still, assuming they are serious when they ask a question... well, there's my answer right there, I guess.
