Term Papers

Writing down jokes is easier that writing serious stuff. Serious stuff is much like writing a term paper: you want everything to be accurate and to the point. You remember how much fun term papers were in high school. I am having trouble staying focused lately. I guess I watched Sesame Street too much with my kids when they were growing up.

The best term paper I ever wrote was for my poetry class in college. It was a critique on The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. I wrote it - complete with research and bibliography - about an hour and a half before it was due. It was five pages long and garnered an A+, as well as the most raving the prof did about ANY paper that year.

I guess you could say I'm good in a crunch...

K/K:
Easy for you to say. Oh to be younger and not the victim of “Oldheimers” disease. I liken my “sex organ” to the memory of a modern day computer. They both need to be refreshed periodically. Not in the nanoseconds of a computer but still daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. I think of my mind as being a bucket with a hole in it. To keep it full, I have to keep adding to it. As I get older, the hole gets bigger and everything runs out faster. I, therefore, have to keep filling it faster; a never ending task.
