I'm a direct descendant of...

We've had a family tree that goes back to Pocahontas and John Rolf(no, she didn't marry John Smith)and I've taken my ancestors for granted. John Randolph was George Washington's aide during the Revolutionary war and advised General Washington not to fight the British head on but to fight a guerilla war. To shoot from cover, to ambush on the road, to attack at night whilst they slept, to shoot them in the back or even while they were taking a dump! Hell Georgie, it's a WAR, lets not pussyfoot around!
Related by marriage to a few presidents and etc, general geniology until recently...
My Mom's maiden name is Frost, a relative of Robert Frost the poet and recently I found out about a terrible embarassment in our family.
One of the Frost ancestors actually fought for the DAMN YANKEES during the unpleasantness(that some of us who are not white trash Southerners call the Civil War)
Yes, Captain John Henry Frost fought with the Yankee army and was descended from Major Charles Frost and his wife Mary Bowles Frost whose family was descended from Kenneth McAlpin who became the first true king of Scotland by merging the Scots(Dalriada tribe)to the Picts by taking 'a comely Pictish wench' to be his queen. King Kenny was descended from Fergus Mor Mac, son of Fergus Mor who was descended from Begran, son of the Spanish King and the Queen Scotia of Egypt, daughter of the Pharo. Fergus Mor's mother was Eroca, a princess of Britain descended from Colius, the king there(Ole King Cole)and Coleus was a direct descendant of the Caesars who ruled Rome at that time. The Egyptians are descendants of Ham, son of Adam and Eve and the Caesars are descendants of Cain or Abel(which ever one survived, I heard about it later)
So, now I've traced my ancestry back to Adam and Eve. That sure puts my mind at rest. Boy, can I sleep well now.
One thing though, I wonder why no one seems to be a descendant of Lars, the stable boy and Inga the scullery maid. I guess those are your ancestors, not mine, mine are special!
