New Grid Sequence

I have an exhibition coming up in August and I am preparing paintings in preparation for a reaallly big show.

This is part of the series that I am working on. From what others have told me they are architectural, topographical, to me it is just a grid to work out my anguish.

The process is called Encaustics. It is made with oil paint and beeswax heated to 300 degrees when it is painted on it dries almost instantly. it smells good and the texture surface is smooth to the touch. I also love to touch it..

Best of luck with the exhibition! And you know ... it doesn't really matter WHAT it is ... as long as it helps YOU.

Get a masters in Fine Art. That is the terminal degree. You can support yourself by teaching taqt the university level. Otherwise just move to NYC.

Looks and feels to me like anger and confusion...like someone lost and seeking direction.

I like it!

Thanks, I am lucky enough that I will have a half page ad in Art Papers magazine hoping that it generates some sales.
