Sometimes we are in love and often times throughout our lives it might be unrequited.

In love and we feel it in the pit of our stomachs.

We have sex, good sex, bad sex, quick sex, go long time sex, sloppy sex, sensuous sex, kinki sex, tantric sex, sex with ourselves, nasty sex, sex on the beach, in a car, outdoors, in public, on a plane, in a train.

Then we have the relationship, working, platonic, good, bad, indifferent.

Sometimes we have two of the three

Love & Sex
Love & Relationship
Sex & Relationship

The probability is that in your lifetime you have had in your romance affairs many combinations with the twos.

My question today is how often have you had all three?

Did it last? Is it still working?

Once and yes it's still working. It started last spring, and I hope it goes on forever!

Blessed Be

Once and it failed miserably and catastrophically lol

You forgot the other huge constituent of timing

VenusDiaries replies on 5/28/2006 8:34 am:
Timing is the essense of it all and it is generally kismet that applies.

What on earth has the frog from the muppets got to do with it?

VenusDiaries replies on 5/28/2006 9:17 am:
kismet is a term for fate or fortune, long before television.

I've been thinking about this and would be curious what the most common variant that people have had was

I spent most of my life having the sex+relationship sort labouring under the illusion that it also included love until I met someone who I did love which completely overshadowed to such a ridiculous extent what I had felt for people previously

I like to know what are the chances and likelyhood of achieving all three multiple times in a lifetime.

I know what kismet is silly

The chances of multiple occurences is just based on SOOOO many variables tho isnt it?

For a start there are the personal ones, many people are so out of tune with what they want and have to offer they will most probably walk past it looking for something better, also once its been lost once many will be too scared to put their heart in someones hands ever again and will avoid vulnerability so they influence the odds adversly all by themselves

Aside from that there could be a billion people who you could have it with but what if all but the one you have already met live in china? lol

I personally dont believe in fate, kismet or any of the concepts of a similar ilk, its easy to look at something and desperately try to find a positive to cling to and is a better approach than finding a negative and clinging to that

Like you break a toe and miss a job interview you really wanted to go for, you get a lesser job which is ok, then focus on the plus points, therorise the other job could have been crap anyway and believe fate made you avoid it

Alternatively the job you missed could equally have been the best job you could ever have dreamed of and improved your standard of life no end, but focusing on that wouldnt be too good really lol

Also with the probability thing, some people really do fall in "love" at the drop of a hat (or a pair of la senza knickers) and would claim they have this weekly, monthly or a few times a year

It all comes down to definitions of what you think love and great sex is, because for many great sex is any sex, a relationship is just anything that stops them being alone and "love" is any swell of emotion for pretty much anyone that transcends "liking"

Basically I dont know but I was bored and wanted to type something lol
