damn step-by-step destructions


ripped my whole steering wheel column apart today. only to find the switch I needed was all the way the bottom and accessible from OUTSIDE the column. ARGH!

Damn, I hate when that happens... One time I was updating a bit under the hood of my old car, new hoses, belts, yadda, yadda... Wonderful boyfriend took last piece apart and dumbass me not only let him, but didn't watch... So I got it all back together, it started like a champ, took the test drive and then... Of course, the wiring I didn't watch him take off, burned out from the oil sending unit on front of the motor clear thru the firewall and under the steering column... ARGH!! And yes, I fixed that too... Smile...

yikes! it's best to take everything apart yourself, then there's at least a chance of remembering where it goes back on! I go by this Quality Assurance rule: less than 5% unknown "extra" pieces left over afterward is acceptable

Yup this is why I hate Directions they are usually wrong or the process can be simplifed someother way!
