A connection....

After weeks and weeks of waiting we had our first meeting with another couple this last Saturday night. Prior to meeting with them we talked on IM and exchanged phone calls. I knew right away that I was going to get along with the female of the couple. We had so much to talk about and our husbands are in the same line of work. So we were on the same page with alot of things. After making small talk a few times we finally got around to our *ground rules* if and when we would meet them and get together. I believe that it is important to discuss just what is or isn't allowed prior to meeting. That way everyone knows what's expected of them.

We met for coffee at a local restaurant with the understanding that if things *clicked* between us that we would join them in a motel that they had gotten a room at prior. No pressure...just prepared in case anything occured. After a wonderful conversation over coffee we decided to join them in their room for a drink. Once settled in and sipping on our drinks we continued to talk. I felt comfortable right away, and I know my husband did as well. We exchanged stories, and after a time the conversation turned towards maybe getting something started. For those of you who have done this before you know that the *ice* needs to be broken. It's difficult to know sometimes just what to do. Us ladies were talking and noticed the men having their own private conversation...before we knew it her husband came to her, urging her to rise. Without words she took my hand leading me to one of the double beds. We began to enjoy one another....

Now I'm not one to kiss and tell...even though I know some of you would love to know all the details....*wink* I will say that we had 5 hours of enjoyment with them, and can't wait to see them again. We have the start of a friendship here and hope to have many more good times with them in the future.

Thanks to both of you (you know who you are) for a fulfilling evening. Looking forward to seeing you again....*wink*
