Is the auto profile writer really all it's cracked up to be?

Well hello all...

This is something I've been wondering for a while, now I never used it because I recon that by writing your own profile you let people reading it know a little more about you than just what it says in the text.

But one thing that has struck me since joining and clicking around is just how robotic and monotonous the auto profiles can be, and how many fakers and spammers are hiding behind them...

so here's my question:

if you clicking around and find a profile (whether it via a mag post, wink, group or just search) that is obviously auto generated, does it affect your chance of response?
It makes no difference, I'm just so horny I message everyone
If a profile says something I'm interested in I don't care how it was generated
It'll make me think twice, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt that the person is genuine
well if they've paid for a subscription I'd presume they were real and not let the auto generator put me off
I'd need to see that they have got involved in other parts of the site like groups or magazine
He / She would have to have posted some pretty impressive stuff in the magazine or been real nice in the chat room for me to ign
sorry, it's just a blanket ban on people that can't be bothered writing their own profile
