Are we ready for some football?

My Philadelphia Eagles open their season tonight against the Pittsburgh Steelers.Yes it is only an exhibition game but with the TO psychotic soap opera,Corey Simons holdout,Todd Pinkstons season ending injury,Tra Thomas blood clot this game will bring us a chance to see the new players and plans for a Super Bowl return.Being an Eagles fan is a curse - we never win the big one even though we come close.Been a lifelong fan and that translates into many heartbreaks. But we are optimistic that one day we will win it all.Anyone else out there in blogland a football fan?

Oh, yes. I'm a huge NFL fan. I wonder what the powers of Blogland would think about a weekly football discussion?

Can't say I'm an Eagles fan... but I respect your frustration.

Despite his talents, TO needs to get his walking papers from Andy Reid and the Eagles. No matter what, the Eagles will remain one of the top NFC teams this year.

Hell yeah, go Cowboys!!! Ok, so they don't have much of a team... In that case, I'm also going to root for Dante Culpepper and the Vikings!

Who do you think the best QB is? Your pick for best RB? I like P. Manning and Tomlinson)

The Cowboys are certainly improved with Drew Bledsoe at quarterback, but the defense may still be a problem with all those rookies.

The Colts with Peyton Manning are tough to beat. But then there's this guy by the name of Brady with a lot of Super Bowl rings. I swear he is like the Michael Jordan of football: Brady can will his team to win.
