Time ...

Odd, isn't it, how blogging can become such a major part of ones life?

Whether it's reading and commenting on the blogs of others or writing your own, it's a way of reaching out and communicating with, potentially, hundreds or even thousands (I should be so lucky) of others. As I said many posts ago, no man is an island and we all need that contact with others who share our interests or who make us smile, think, laugh or cry.

If anyone had told me when I started this blog back at the end of July that I'd be on the brink of my centenary post by mid-October I would have thought that ridiculous, yet here I am. I'm amazed.

So it seems somewhat ironic, at post number 99, that I'm now finding less and less time for online stuff, including blogging.

Life has become a little more complicated lately. Work has become hectic and wearing but I've been offered a new job (yes, dear reader, the interview was successful!). That in itself means I need to be preparing now. I've had a little illness (nothing serious but enough to knock me sideways) and I'm taking some serious decisions to sort out one part of my life that has been giving me real grief over the past months. It all takes time - especially since some of the decisions I'm taking are ones that I really don't want to take.

And that's hit my online time not just in Blogland but also in chat and email. I even missed the deadline for AmberSolaire's strip troupe (not that the world is missing much!), a fact that I'm sure has been noted in high places but that everyone so far has been too kind to mention {blush}.

I'm not going far, I assure you, and I'll be chatting and posting whenever I get the chance but bear with me for a while, eh?

Jx

Thanks for all your kind comments (((hugs)))

Particular thanks to PrincessKarma ... gropes are always a pleasant interlude

Hotandhorny ... I take it when you say I'd do well as a stripper you've heard of my decorating skills? I have certainly had experience of stripping woodwork prior to painting ...

Sin ... At least if I'm taking a little more time out, there'll be less for you to keep up with!

Georgia ... You've all been 'baring' here and I've missed it??

Post 100 awaits, dear readers

COngratulations on the new job!
As you make the decisions that you must, look forward, strive head, and bring the positive energy toward you. These types of decisions can be difficult, but sometimes we just gotta do what we gotta do.
Hugs.

Darkdreamsofu ... Thanks! And you're quite right - sometimes we just have to focus on why we're making the difficult decisions rather than on their short-term cost.
