I'm Late, I'm Late ...

Ah, there's nothing like a wardrobe full of crisply-ironed, fresh, white shirts!

I actually quite like ironing shirts - I take my time with the task and get a great deal of pleasure from the result.

And I've yet to find a woman who can iron my shirts as well as I can ...

Sad but true

So why do I look hopefully in my wardrobe and find that it contains no crisply-ironed, fresh, white shirts? Why is it that I still end up ironing a shirt in a state approaching panic in the morning so I can go to work? Why is it that I always have an ironing backlog? Why do I think that any of you will care?

Mind you, one of the wonderful things about being single is the fact that I no longer end up ironing women's clothes - all those pleats and heat-sensitive materials and bits and bobs that are way too three-dimensional!

Hmmm ... I'm also aware there's something badly wrong when I can take the time out to add a note to my blog explaining what a rush I'm in this morning!

"My name is Jeff and I'm a blog addict"

Maybe I need to start a support group?

Jx

Why is it called Blogoholics Anonymous when the first thing you do is stand up and say, 'My name is Jeff, and I am a blogoholic?

Is it a sad statement about my life that I am in wholehearted agreement with you? Had I ever seen my wife touch an iron for its intended purpose (as opposed to, say, as a hammer) I would still never allow her near my shirts with it.

Yes, it's clear to me now. Sad is exactly the word I would use to describe it. But thank you for speaking openly about this. It's the first step as they say.

Free ... Well, please feel free to pop over and do my ironing for me ... just as long as you leave the shirts to me!

Al ... As always, a good question ... of course, you are assuming that my name really is Jeff ...

Spiky ... It's hard to be the first to admit to an obsession such as this but, together brother, we can defeat this ... or, at least, make it socially acceptable

Lonely little steam iron wishes correspondence with other abandoned steam irons. My Mistress, having resided in Cali too long, has spent most of the summer pulling T-shirts and capris fresh from the dryer and bouncing out the In fact, (sob, sniffle) She hasn't touched me once...please email me at AdultFriendFinder.com. Look forward to sizzling with yu soon.

Hi... I'm a Dutch steam iron called Philips and I think you and I would be good friends. My mistress never does any ironing during the summer months, as she does exactly what your mistress does, and whips the clothes out of the drier so fast they'd get whiplash if they were human. She suddenly remembers my existence when she urgently has to iron a shirt for some important do, and that's when I get my own back by spewing out gunge through my steam vents... that'll show the ungrateful cow!

I look forward to letting off some steam with you soon!

Love, hugs and kisses from ♥♥HH♥♥
