A Rambling Mind (CIA Revision)

As a special service to the readers of this blog, today's entry has been noted and revised by the Creative Improvement Association.

It is clear that the "fatigue" of which the author complained has affected his ability to string words together in any manner that could be described as "interesting", "entertaining", "informative" or even "vaguely amusing". This resulted in an overly long piece which risked severe damage to the reader's brain or, at least, the reader's mood.

We have, therefore, extracted the key words from the article using the latest in context-checking literary software. This, we are convinced, has provided a piece of rather less verbosity while retaining at least as much value. We appreciate that this latter is not a difficult task.

Revision follows:

Today I am tired ... mind ... wandering ... "My Way" ... out of tune ... 10CC and Pearl Jam ... "Good Ship Venus" ... "Four and Twenty Virgins" ... Inverness ... Sex on the swings ... garden ... sex ... frying a goat ... Douglas Adams ... Fall back and spring forward ...bed bases ... The Night The Bed Collapsed ... spanking ... Sex ...Anchovies ... just read Talking of taste.... ... Pizza ... Pizza ... Pizza ... jalapeno pepper ... lentils ... sexy ... sexy ... tagliatelle ... lost the plot?

We would like to wish all readers appropriate seasonal greetings and crave their indulgence and continued custom through this necessary period of adjustment.

We would also wish the author the best of luck: may the tablets start to work soon.

Xerxes Lobotomy for the CIA (the other one)

Definition of the Day: Slush Donkey: like a Slush Puppy but with more of a kick, used specifically to describe such drinks as frozen margueritas and frozen daiquiris.

The Night The bed collapsed?
Isn't it The Night the bed Fell[/]?

Jay ... It took me a while to get the literary reference, ma'am ... but, no, this was a real bed, I was in it and I would definitely say that "collapsed" would be the appropriate word!

Oh, Dizzy, it's not the same if you plan a collapsing bed! The inexplicable workings of the universe will cause it to happen at just the right moment ...

Star ... I'm not sure quite how to score that! You either get bonus points for the number of people involved or you get points deducted because it needed four of you!
