We went roller skating with the kids out at Lynnwood Roll-A-Way this afternoon (Highway 99 and 200th SE) and then after that went down to Alki Beach and ate at Pegasus Pizza on Alki.
It was 87F when we went into the skating rink 89F when we left but as we passed Beth's (we went from Lynnwood to the West Seattle bridge via I-99) the thermometer hit 90F.
Strange how the weather was garbage all summer until my camera broke and it's been sunny and warm every single day since.
The drive along Alki was pleasant, lots of pretty skimpily clad women along the route, and to make it even better, just as we approached Pegasus someone pulled out and gave us a parking space.
There was an Art on the Beach art festival in progress down by the bathhouse. It was only 78F down by the beach so really a pretty pleasant day.
There was a guy with a boogie-board there in spite of the total absence of waves, I guess he was just paddling around.
All in all a pleasant afternoon.
