My thoughts while I was away about AFF

I can say, a small part of me missed posting on AdultFriendFinder and a large part of me enjoyed the fact I knew I could walk away and not let it bother me if I decided to. It seems to me my writing has taken over the reason I'm on here and that was to meet women. Now, I'm still open to meeting people in general, but I'm not going to expect or change who I am to do so. People who I'm interested in wanting and getting to know on a more deeper level will be told of my intentions. (As some already have). As most of you could agree about yourself, No one is going to waste their own time or someone elses on a wild goose chase, realities must be faced too.

Some people claim this isn't real life, yet I find myself seeing more and more people admitting they use the internet to meet people. Blogging is the newest trend, Television commericals are produced for Websites which encourage people to look for partner(s) online. Teenagers post on various websites pertaining to their day to day activities and families use it to communicate to other family members. Business's use it to sell products or services.

What I find amusing though, is how for those people claim a site like this isn't part of ones' real life, yet here they are looking for someone who is real.

How about those who claim it IS a part of one's real life, AND are looking for someone real?

Great thoughts, hon, ones which I empathize with, particularly the "my writing has taken over the reason I'm on here".

All I can say is that I have met "in real life" people I have met on this site and would probably would not have met had it not been for being online. If being online is not real life then there is a definite link to real life.

Make sure you are clear to the ones you are hoping to get to know. They may read this and feel they aren't one of the chosen few and could become discouraged.
