are submissives just needy?

Dont all rush at me at once!

The truth is that i believe that submission is the highest expression of love that i have encountered. She wishes to serve her master, they have a relationship built on total trust even to teh point of exploring boundaries together. She cedes control..she obeys.

Its a pretty special thing...or its weird

your coments?

It depends on their relationship, whether he is trustworthy or not. If so, great, because to totally submit to someone who is deserving is very liberating, and yes it is the highest expression of love. It can make a relationship go beyond the normal boundaries into something much deeper. As long has the master recognizes the gift, because that is what it is, the most powerful gift. In submitting, you give up control, but gain power, with the right partner. When you take the time to think about it, although it sounds weird, it is actually not, it is a true coming together, something not just everyone can handle. P.S. I am a submissive wife, and not because I was forced or have low self esteem. In fact, quite the opposite, because of the relationship we have. Any other comments?

Would you be willing to be a submissive?
    And if not, why?
Great question which actually challenges me hugely....My initial reaction is no..because i am a Dom...but i guess we should all be open to experience all life has to offer

So for xpermentalisms sake the answer is yes...but only with a very gentle and trustworthy Domme

Thanks for those comments...i hope i didnt come across as flippant ...i was just hoping to get some dialogue going on teh whole D/S concept.

Yes i agree that it is a most powerfull gift , one which is misunderstood by the mainstream.

and teh zen like notion that you gain power when you give up control is wonderfully put

Thanks

Could not have said it better myself, pleasurechasers said it all. I find being sub for the right One the most liberating experience. It is a frame of mind and thought, BUT it takes the right person to draw that out! Far from being weird, it is one of the most honest and purest forms of committment or love!!

Carpe Diem..an unexamined life is not worth living
